Mead Board of Trustees

A Board of Trustees which, under Wisconsin law and City of Sheboygan ordinances, is responsible for the supervision of the administration of Mead Public Library, a department of the City of Sheboygan. The Mead Public Library Board, among other things, has exclusive control of the expenditure of all moneys collected, donated or appropriated for the library fund. It has exclusive charge, control and custody of all lands, buildings, money or other property devised, bequeathed, given or granted to the municipality for library purposes. It reviews and approves all expenditures of the public library. It appoints the Library Director, who appoints such other staff members as the Board deems necessary, and prescribes their duties and compensation.
