Salaries & Grievances

The role of the Salaries & Grievance Committee is to serve the Common Council in Human Resources matters involving compensation, employee benefits and Labor/Employee Relations. The Committee is also responsible for recommending action to the Common Council on pay changes, promotions, etc. It also is responsible to recommend changes in benefit plans as well as to set the general guidelines for the city’s position on labor contract negotiations.
